Jaguar has announced the launch date for the new electric car. "We will start taking orders."

Although Jaguar's rebranding and announcement of a fully electric lineup have been met with mixed reviews, the brand remains confident in its decisions. It's just clearly in no rush. The British manufacturer's managing director, Rawdon Glover, confirmed that the highly anticipated next-generation electric model won't be unveiled until next year.
Last autumn, Jaguar announced the withdrawal of all combustion and diesel car models from sale and the full electrification of the brand.
In early December, during Art Basel in Miami , the company gave its first taste of its new generation of cars, unveiling an elongated, four-door grand tourer concept called the Type 00 to a wider audience.
The full presentation, including technical details, was supposed to take place this year, but you know... "You have to sit down and think about it."

"We'll unveil it next year and start taking orders. Deliveries will begin relatively soon after," Glover explained.
We also learned a few details. Glover emphasized that the new grand tourer will be the most powerful Jaguar ever (when asked if the brand will continue to produce sports cars).

Will Jaguar's new electric car spark debate?Rawdon Glover also announces that the design of the new vehicle from the British manufacturer… will not appeal to everyone and is expected to arouse extreme opinions.
"I believe that great design divides people, whether it's fashion , architecture, or anything else. Therefore, being confident in saying, 'This is what we think a 21st-century Jaguar should look like,' and sticking to it, is very important," assured the brand's managing director.
The company has already taken a risk with an advertising campaign that many customers have dubbed "woke." It seems Jaguar is confident in its ideas and intends to pursue its vision despite unfavorable opinions. It may seem risky, but if it succeeds, success will be much sweeter.
Are you still waiting for the new electric car from the British legend?
